World Outdoor Hockey Championships The weekend of February 15th to 17th, a group of students and staff from LCCHS volunteered their time and efforts to help out at the World Outdoor Hockey Championships in Magog, QC. The group was tasked with reffing, registration, food services, and just about anything else that needed doing! A charity auction was held that weekend with proceeds going to the LCCHS Ecuador Trip and the LCCHS Rugby Program. A big thank you to the organizers of the WOHC for inviting us to take part. BRAVO to our hardworking and enthusiastic LCCHS volunteers! |

The SPCA wishes to thank all students from LaSalle Community Comprehensive High School who worked very hard to acquire many needed items for the animals in our shelter.
Nathalie Lanctot, a math teacher, decided to come up with a community service project with two of her grade 8 classes. She dedicated the project to raising money and purchasing items from the SPCA’s wish list. Her students were very enthusiastic in helping out the SPCA and she gave them four weeks to complete their tasks. She was speechless and astounded at their hard work and dedication. Almost half of the items were brought at the SPCA on December 14, and the rest will be delivered today.
At the SPCA, we are amazed at how hard these students worked, even when there are no marks involved! All the animals at the SPCA thank every student for their incredible efforts – such a great Christmas gift!
